accueil At the 108th session in Lausanne on 17 and 18 March 1999 the Executive Board proposed a new selection procedure for the designation of the 2006 Winter Games. The reform provided for the appointment of a college to propose the Two cities finalists among the six deductions.
For the first time, the choice of the host city was broadcast on television. It took place between Sion and Turin.
For the first time to the best of my knowledge, we have had two advertising cuts during the broadcast of the opening ceremony by RAI as if some countries had less imorption than others (inadmissible) > It should also be noted that there has been no official program since the first games in Chamonix and finally, one of the official suppliers offered a product on the Monaco Summer Games in 1972.
