Unhappy candidate to the games of 1996 Centenary, the city of Athens obtained the organization of the 2004 games. That constituted the first Games of the new millenium. If at the sporting level, these plays were a success, in particular in the fight against doping, it should be noticed that, for the first time, French language missed quasi of these Games.
