stroke Mandeville In 1948 Dr. Guttmann organized the first competition for athletes in wheelchairs called Stoke Mandeville Games.
The First Paralympic Games were held in 1960 in Rome, from 1988, the Paralympic Games are held in the same city as the Olympics.
The results comes from IPC website.
Some tests have been incorporated in the Olympics, but merging the two competitions is not in the agenda.
